Counsellor Profile
I am a BACP Accredited and UKRC Registered counsellor working with individuals and couples in central Edinburgh. I am flexible about working short or long term, according to mutually agreed client need.
My background is in the Humanistic tradition and I work in a Person-centred way, believing that it is the client who is the expert on his or her own life and that it is the counsellor's job to actively listen and support the client in finding the way forward which is right for him or her at this particular moment. I have extensive experience of working with loss, bereavement and life transitions and a particular interest in difference and the individual search for creative living.
I have been seeing clients in several counselling agencies in Edinburgh since 1999 and set up my own practice in 2004.
