I have been a counsellor since 1994 and have a wide range of experience, offering a welcoming and professional, confidential and supportive counselling tailored to meet your needs. I offer long or short term work and have an integrative approach based on a psychodynamic training. This approach allows for the understanding of the past plus an additional emphasis on helping clients think about their problems in new and more empowering ways. Some issues can be resolved in 6 to 12 sessions. CBT and solution focussed counselling may be appropriate. Deeper issues may take a longer time.
