Counsellor Profile
I am an integrative, humanistic counsellor and supervisor, and a member of BACP. I offer a free half hour introductory session. I encourage clients to draw on their strengths and experiences in order to develop effective ways of coping with the changes and challenges of life. I use humanistic, CBT, creative, systemic, transpersonal, and trauma-embodied therapies; combining these techniques to match the needs of each client. Exploring thoughts and feelings in counselling can be hard and sometimes painful work. I believe it can also be fun.

Extra Information
COUNSELLING SUPERVISION
I am an integrative, humanistic supervisor working with individuals and groups. I offer supervisees a space to review and regain their personal and professional energy. I enjoy using creative techniques to enhance understanding and increase objectivity and specialise in supervision of work with young people. All supervision relationships are grounded in a co-created open contract.
STRESS MANAGEMENT I also offer one to one counselling in the workplace. (Well-timed stress management intervention reduces absenteeism and improves productivity.) I worked in HR for a number of years before qualifying as a counsellor and have experience of large and small organisations. When the workplace is not an appropriate location, I can offer counselling off-site, or telephone counselling
LISTENING SKILLS TRAINING
Hearing is instinctive whereas listening is a learned skill. When employees are able to listen and be heard, the working environment is imporved and emotional and financial errors are reduced. I provide training for groups of 6 to 30.
