Profile

I am a member with the BACP and I qualified in 2003 and have had experience working with children and adult survivors of sexual abuse, Domestic violence, addictions, bereavement and also use art and music therapy.

I am an Adult and Child trauma therapist working integretively. Working from a safe and confidential therapeutic environment. within easy reach of Wareham & Wool BR Stations. I practice in Swanage, Weymouth, Wareham, Dorchester and Portland Dorset. I am a member of the BACP awaiting accreditation.

I feel that it is important that the therapeutic relationship is a good fit, and therefore I would always invite you for an initial assessment, which gives us both the opportunity to see if we can work safely together and that you will feel comfortable working with me on your delicate, and confidential issues. As a member of the BACP, I have an obligation to work ethically with your health and safety foremost.

I facilitate self assertion and self worth groups and have been in Practice for 8 years. I have a varied work experience, within a Doctors surgery, school counsellor, working with parents and children in mis-attuned relationships referals from social services, Insurance Company's and other agencies.
