Counsellor Profile

In practice since 1985 and a former senior lecturer in counselling. For four years I was a policy advisor to the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. There I played a key role in shaping the direction of counselling in Britain. I am also an ex-Chair of BACP's affiliated South London group. For two years I was a member of the Governing Council of the National Register of Hypnotherapists & Psychotherapists. I have appeared on tv programmes on counselling, most recently being interviewed by Anglia tv on the topic 'Can Money Make You Happy?'. I present workshops at national conferences and am a regular contributor to professional journals.

I work with both individuals and couples in a supportive atmosphere to help them make constructive changes in their lives. My work has been influenced by my extensive training and experience, my involvement with counselling organisations, my teaching of counselling students, my life experiences, and my work with many hundreds of clients since 1985.
