Counsellor Profile

Sometimes we experience difficult times in our lives and/or we find ourselves still suffering from events in the past. If you are finding life hard to manage,
counselling may help. I can provide a safe, confidential space where you can feel accepted and able to explore your true feelings and worries without fear of judgement or disapproval.

I am primarily a person-centred counsellor but sometimes work more integratively depending on the client and the issues involved. However, the relationship between therapist and client is a key factor in counselling and this is why I do not charge for the first session. You are then able to make a decision whether or not you would like us to work together following this first meeting.

I have also had experience working for an addictions clinic and Refuge, the domestic violence charity.
