Counsellor Profile
My private practice is based in a comfortable, quiet, ground floor therapy room with on-road car parking. I am located near to the A47 for ease of access from the central road networks.
I work with individuals with issues including bereavement, marital separation or divorce , relationship problems; sexual, emotional and physical abuse. Sometimes therapy is sought where there is a sense that life feels empty, meaningless or unfulfilled. Other areas of work are listed below.
The way that I work is to seek to develop an awareness of unconscious processes. It is about helping to make sense and meaning out of the difficulties which have led to therapy. This can enable a growing and deepening self awareness which may lead to an understanding of how earlier life experiences continue to exist in the present and may be preventing a satisfying and fulfilling way of living or make existing problems more difficult to manage.
I work with patients on a once weekly, twice weekly or three times weekly basis.
