Counsellor Profile
You are searching for a therapist, and wondering which one to choose? And at the same time, you would like to find someone who can help you through your present crisis/difficulties/problems. I remember so well my questions before my first sessioin - will he like me? will he judge me? can he help me? what about my anxiety? So many questions. If these are some of yours, then we already have a lot in common.
Originally I am from Ireland, but have travelled and lived in various countries. Becoming a therapist was not just a career path for me, but also something deeply personal. Yes, it was scary getting to know myself, but also it has been liberating. Therapy is not magic, but it can make an enormous difference to our lives.
I wish you well on your journey.

Extra Information
It is suffering of various kinds that brings each one of us to therapy. Naturally we want that suffering to be lessened and taken away, but maybe the suffering has also got a message for us. Maybe it tells us that something in my life needs to be recognised, reclaimed, and integrated. That is the work of Psychosynthesis. It is important to look at my past and present, but with an eye to my future.
