Counsellor Profile

I am a Psychodynamically trained counsellor who specialises in talking to couples; and individuals with all manner of problems that impacts on their relationships. I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have been working with clients for three years.

I have worked with individuals both long and short term who had issues relating to low self esteem, panic attacks, depression, bereavement, anxiety and stress which invariably affected their relationship with others. I have also worked with similar issues with couples.
I am at the moment undertaking further training with Relate to enhance my understanding of working with couples.

After a successful career in the printing industry I decided after working as a Samaritan and being involved in Group Therapy to train as a counsellor.

I trained with Chelmsford Counselling Foundation which is accredited with BACP. I have the Certificate and Diploma in Counselling Skills and the Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling.

I have for a number of years had my own therapist and have been involved in group therapy.
