Counsellor Profile

I am primarily a person-centred counsellor. I live in Bristol and run a private counselling practise in Clifton. I believe that you already have the resources to achieve your potential and to affect positive changes within your own life.
I work in accordance with the BACP code of ethics.
We will examine together personal situations that you would like to improve and help you explore other ways of approaching those situations. All you need to bring is a desire to understand and a willingness to grow as a person.

Training, Qualifications & Experience (more info)

I am a qualified counsellor with a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and I am a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I have worked as a counsellor in various organisations both with young people and adults and facilitated in a group setting.
I started my training in Dance Movement Therapy (Foundation level) and still have a keen interest in the relationship between body and mind. I completed a year's course in Embodied Relationship Therapy. In January 2009 I will be starting training in Couples Counselling.
