Counsellor Profile

I am trained as a counsellor and integrative psychotherapist. My work has involved addessing self defeating patterns of behaviour,relationship problems,childhood,sexual,emotional and physical abuse. I have worked with families and individuals.

As well as years of experience I have a Diploma in Psychotherapy/Counselling and am accredited by The Counselling society. I am regulated by their code of conduct.

I am working on an Advanced Diploma
at the moment and am supervised regularly.

I work using Transactional Analysis specialising in looking at the underlying unconscious "agendas" in peoples verbal communications with one another, and looking at the power and control gained by those verbal interactions.

Fees

The initial hour session is £8 (cheque payable befor the first session)thereafter all sessions cost £30 per hour.

Sessions are available on a Saturday.

Extra Information

I work as an integrative therapist/counsellor meaning I can utilise different models and techniques to suit a clients individual needs.
I provide a confidential,safe environmentwhere clients can talk about "real issues" such as feelings ,hurts and dissapointments

I work from "Pure Moves" Body Works Centre, ( five minutes from Frome town centre)

after an initial hour consultation,getting to know the clients needs( and for them to discover what I'm like !) a contract is drawn up for future counselling.
