Counsellor ProfileI am a qualified and BACP accredited counsellor with substantial experience in a number of settings. I work from a broad therapeutic base, integrating theories and techniques and choosing the approach that best suits each individual client in order for them to gain insight, overcome difficulties and move on with their lives. I enjoy working with people regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity etc and feel that I am warm and approachable.
I offer short term and long term face to face counselling for individuals, couples and groups. I also offer a telephone counselling service and can in special circumstances make home visits. I generally work from my home which is quiet, comfortable and anonymous to ensure client confidentiality. I am conveniently situated 5 mins from Halifax town centre and a mainline station and 10 mins from the M62. On street parking is available and I am close to a regular bus route.
