Counsellor Profile

I offer counseling and psychotherapy as short or long term therapy for individuals, as well as supervision - in Cambridge and London W2.
My approach is transpersonal and integrative, informed by other techniques, like psychodynamic theory, family dynamics, Gestalt and EFL. It includes stress management, relationship counselling, anger management, trauma work and mindfulness CBT.
The transpersonal approach goes beyond mind and emotions, including also the spiritual perspective and the body. It uses and encourages creative imagination through art, stories, poetry, symbolism, body- and energy work, visualisation, meditation and dream work. I have worked with a wide variety of people and a wide range of issues and my training and background lead me to work in a unique way with each individual and their process.

Alongside my clinical work I have been involved in the training of therapists and have been delivering and developing courses and workshops in the fields of psychotherapy, spirituality, complementary medicine and supervision. I have been clinical supervisor for a variety of training programs in the UK and overseas. In recent years I held the position of senior psychotherapist at the internationally renowned Penny Brohn Cancer Care centre.
