Becky offers individual counselling in Taunton Somerset. She is a Senior Accredited Member of the BACP. Her company New Leaf Life Design operates a private counselling clinic based in Taunton, Glastonbury, Minehead, Bridgwater and Wellington in Somerset. New Leaf offers counselling in Somerset for a variety of problems and life issues.

Becky is a qualified and experienced counsellor with a wide experience of helping people resolve difficulties. Relationship issues, bereavement, work related issues and anxiety are all issues which she and her team of therapists can help with.

She aims to provide a confidential and modern approach to counselling.

Becky Wright also offers counsellor supervision in Taunton.

New Leaf operates a counselling service from Wellington with Angela McCormack and we also have two additional therapists in Taunton Jan Walker and Benjamin Ellis and now a counsellor in Glastonbury Stephanie Groves. Lyn Willcox has also joined us in Bridgwater and Helena Trump in Wiveliscombe. The service works with over 18;s only and we do not offer specific anger management work however we can use a counselling model to help with anger issues.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

Becky has a Diploma in Counselling and hold a Master of Science Degree in Counselling Research awarded by the University of Bristol.She has a diploma in Individual and Group Supervision.

Within working in the prison service Becky was involved in teaching assertiveness, drug, alcohol, anger and stress management courses to inmates. She also delivered a Post Traumatic Stress Counselling to Somerset Probation Service Offenders. Becky has held a private counselling practice since 1992.

She is an senior accredited member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), She is bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, the Ethical Guidelines for Researching Counselling and Psychotherapy (where practitioners undertake research) and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.
