I use a mixture of approaches in therapy, all of them grounded in an attitude towards others that involves warmth and humour. My role involves two parts; one as an observer, employing skills and 'techniques' to problem-solve; the other is as a participant, where 2 people engage with each other in the therapy room.

My Approach
Working in the Humanistic tradition I use a creative and practical approach for meaningful, lasting change in the way you care for yourself, your self-respect and in your personal strengths.
With many issues that involve 'learnt patterns' or 'self-defeating behaviours', sometimes being understood and supported is not enough and we need something more. Challenging the beliefs that underlie problems or 'symptoms' can facilitate effective change.
