Counsellor Profile

My name is Wayne Johnson. I am a sole practitioner offering both in depth, long term and focused, time limited Humanistic Person-Centred Counsellling and Psychotherapy to individuals, group anger management sessions and training and consultancy services within Brighton and Hove.

I adhere to both the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and UKCP ethical guidelines and I am a CCC registered Counsellor. I carry professional indemnity insurance and my work is regularly supervised.

I currently divide my time between private clients, training and working within a therapeutic community.

My Training:

My formal training was comprehensive and I have achieved Postgraduate Diploma Level training in Humanistic Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy.I am now currently in the advanced clinical stages of training for an M.A in Humanistic Person-Centred Psychotherapy.

In addition to this I have undertaken formal training at introductory level in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and attained a Certificate in the Essentials of Sexual Minority Therapy.

I am committed to ongoing training and continued professional development and have embarked upon substantial personal development.

Fees

My current fee is £30 -£35 per 50 minute session, however i am open to discussing a mutually agreeable concessionary rate for those who would otherwise be unable to access professional services.
