Counsellor Profile

I am a qualified counsellor and I have experience of working in the voluntary sector and the NHS. I have also spent some time working with prisoners in an adult male prison. My experience includes working with people with addictions such as drug & alcohol misuse, abuse, bereavement and self esteem issues particularly in prison.
I use mainly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) but also use the Person Centered Approach, Gestalt and Brief Solution Focused Therapy (an eclectic approach) I am a member of BACP & BPS.
I offer help to look at problems in a safe confidential environment to find ways of developing and using more effective coping strategies.
