Counsellor Profile

I have many years experience in the field of professional and personal development and I have been practising as a psychotherapist since 2002. My passion is in working with individuals and organisations to bring out the best in people and to enable them to be happy, fulfilled and successful in their career and personal lives.

I bring to my work the ability to deal sensitively with people at many levels. My approach demonstrates a balance of commitment and fun, empathy and honesty, which encourages a high level of change in others. As an experienced facilitator I have the ability to challenge entrenched attitudes and resolve conflict.

I am a Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapist, accredited by NLPtCA (Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling Association) and registered with UKCP. I am also a Trainer of NLP and hold recognised qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Solution Oriented Hypnotherapy and Supervision.

Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy is a brief and solution focused therapy which means that compared to traditional approaches the number of sessions required may be fewer. Using a mind /body approach I can help clients understand the purpose of problem behaviours, thoughts and feelings and show them how to create new patterns which can deliver lasting change.
