Counsellor Profile

I am an Emotional Therapist and Spiritual Healer.
Emotional Therapy is a means of helping people who are suffering emotional turmoil in their lives. Without acknowledgement and expression these painful feelings can block the ability to live a fulfilling and healthy life. I offer my clients a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment to work through their feelings in a healthy, integrated way.

My aim is to assist and support my clients as we work together, at their own pace, to reach a greater understanding of self and so gain personal strength, find inner peace and restore balance.

I have many years of experience supporting people with a diverse range of difficulties and issues. I have studied and explored holistic approaches to help bring clients to a wholeness from which they can effectively manage their lives.

I am a practicing member of the Foundation for Emotional Therapy (Registered Charity No 1022341). I abide by the Foundation's Code of Conduct and Ethics. My work is fully supervised by an experienced supervisor and I engage in continuing professional development. I am also a member of the British Complimentary Medicine Association and a member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers.

Along side my private practice, I have worked at a children's hospice for seven years working, both with the children and their families. I have spent three years on the bereavement support team, supporting parents and facilitating bereaved sibling groups.

I offer an initial consultation free of charge (approx 30 minutes). Subsequent sessions are one hour and are £35 - £45.

My private practice is conveniently located in Alderley Edge in Cheshire where daytime and evening sessions are available.
