Sandtray Therapy is a helpful and interesting way of looking at problem issues. It is amazingly powerful - putting the client almost immediately at the crux of the matter and allowing for change to be evident and possible and therefore to be discussed and put into practice.
It is an intimate therapy where the client-counsellor relationship already needs to be in a secure place and trust evident. It can be used as a way in to other modalities or as a series of experiences in itself. Client-led, it progresses at the acceptable pace and needs of the counsellee.
