Anxiety: What IS Normal?

Most people experience anxiety at some point in their lives - in fact it is a completely normal feeling. Some people benefit from being anxious as they need the pressure to enable them to complete a project or take an examination. Many people get a buzz from the state of anxiety, but problems can start from anxiety overload. Sometimes anxiety triggers panic attacks or other symptoms such as palpitations, stress, dizziness, light headiness, headaches, poor sleep, lack of concentration and a feeling of not being able to cope.
If an individual has stress in more than one area for example, work, home and family then anxiety is hard to improve unless the individual takes a complete break and looks realistically at their lifestyle and change options. Many people leave it too late before they look for help. This can mean the difference of returning to so-called normality in weeks rather than months or not recovering.
