Recent research has found there could be a link between viral infection in the womb and unborn offspring being predisposed to schizophrenia, reports The Times.
Previous research has suggested that women who contract flu during pregnancy are at higher risk of giving birth to a baby likely to develop schizophrenia later on in life.

A mentally ill man who killed a Derbyshire student was not properly assessed or cared for, reported BBC News.
